Go Long Coaching will be unlike any other coaching service you have had. Being an endurance sports coach has been my dream for longer than being a professional triathlete has. I went to school with the intention of preparing myself to be a great coach. I studied both psychology and physiology to help me acquire the knowledge necessary to coach. I combined this with self study to learn about the key principles of effective training. However what separates me is the combination of this knowledge with my own experience of racing as an age grouper and now as a professional--as well as learning from the mistakes my coaches have made. First and foremost I will provide results but I also want my coaching to be more of a conversation with the athlete. I fully believe I can help you acquire your goals. --A periodized training plan that allows you to be in peak form when the important race(s) come around which includes a. Takes into account your strengths and weakness as an athlete b.
